Sam Hunt is the latest addition to the Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks’ staff, joining the team as both Assistant Director of Hockey Operations and Director of Player Personnel.
Hunt has previously served as Director of Player Personnel for the NAHL’s Shreveport Mudbugs and the EHL’s Philadelphia Jr. Flyers.
“I can’t thank Billy [McCreary] and the entire Hat Tricks organization enough for this opportunity,” Hunt commented. “Hockey has been an important part of my life, and to get to help grow the organization and contribute to the development of players from all over is something I take a lot of pride in and am extremely grateful for. I’m excited to get to Danbury and get back to the game.”
“We are honored that Sam has made the decision to join our team here in Danbury,” said head coach Billy McCreary. “Sam has an impeccable eye for talent and will help us continue to build a culture that focuses on individual development, as well as our team’s success. Her work ethic and attention to detail are second to none and we are fortunate to have her as a part of our team.”
Hunt joins the Jr. Hat Tricks just ahead of their Pre-Draft Camp, set to take place July 17-19. Information about tryouts can be found here.
