JR. HAT TRICKS OPEN FINAL HOME SERIES AGAINST REBELS

Apr 8, 2022

DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Hat Tricks (12-40-3, 27 pts) begin their final home series of the season on Friday when they host the Jamestown Rebels (32-21-2-1, 67 pts).

Danbury enters after splitting its last two full series against Northeast and Maine, both coming at home.

The Hat Tricks have four games remaining, starting with two at home this weekend against Jamestown. The Rebels have won five of the six meetings this year, but the teams have not met in Danbury since a series split on Oct. 8-9.

As has been the case all season, Danbury is led by Gabe Dombrowski’s 23 goals and 45 points, but Boris Skalos has been putting together a nice end to his season.

After being moved up to the top line a few series ago, Skalos has caught fire. He recorded a four-assist game against Northeast and has added a few goals of late to bring his goal total to 14 and point total to 35. He is now third on the team in points and tied for second in goals.

Danbury and Jamestown face off at 7 p.m. on Friday and the game can be seen on HockeyTV.
