The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks have added a Connecticut high school student to their ranks, signing forward Jason Kleinhans to the roster on a tender agreement.
Kleinhans, an ’00-born Herndon, VA native, served as captain of the Kent School hockey team in the Constitution State last year, notching seven goals and 12 assists in 19 games. He finished with 49 points in 64 games over three seasons with the Lions.
Kleinhans possesses both a scoring touch and the ability to set up plays for his teammates. His balanced offensive attack makes him a versatile option for head coach Billy McCreary. Plus, with leadership experience under his belt, he will fit right in with McCreary’s culture of respect and accountability.
