JR. HAT TRICKS COMPLETE SERIES AGAINST NORDIQUES

DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks (11-39-3-0, 25 pts) finish a series against the Maine Nordiques (19-24-5-5, 48 pts) on Saturday afternoon.

In Friday’s game, Danbury fell behind early, but scored late in the second to cut the Maine lead to one heading into the final period.

In the third period, Danbury put 10 shots on goal, but Maine goaltender Avery Sturtz made multiple stops early on to keep Maine’s lead intact.

Hat Tricks goaltender Marino Ramirez made 36 saves in the loss on Friday in his fifth-straight start.

Danbury’s goal in Friday’s loss came from Peter Lychnikoff (7) after Luka Sukovic forced a turnover and found Lychnikoff in front to put the puck past Sturtz.
