Wyatt Stefan put up three goals and an assist, along with two goals from Nickerson, and goals from Georgaklis and Charron, lead the Hat Tricks to a huge 7-2 win at home.
In the first frame, it was a battle between goalies, until Danbury forward, Alexios Georgaklis, opened up the scoring on today’s game. 1:15 later, Logan Nickerson bumped the lead up to two. Things would get chippy only minutes later between Hat Tricks forward, Ameen Ghosheh and Black Bears defenseman, Sebastien Brockman, as they would drop the gloves with 3:36 left in the first period. After the dust settled between the two teams, four additional penalties were added to the initial four from both sides. In total, the first period contained 38 penalty minutes.
In the second frame, Wyatt Stefan would grab his first goal of the night, 0:33 into the period. Following this goal, the Black Bears would grab their only two goals, 8:04 after the third Hat Tricks goal. The two goals would be scored 1:08 apart. Wyatt Stefan would answer to both goals 4:00 later and then grabbed the hat trick, 2:12 later. The Hat Tricks would end the period, up 5-2.
In the final frame, Hat Tricks forward, David Tolan was assessed a minor penalty for slashing. However, this would not stop Danbury, as Logan Nickerson would grab his second goal of the night, shorthanded. 1:13 later, Danbury defenseman, Cam Charron, would grab his second goal of the season, to bring the game to a 7-2 final.
