LEWISTON, ME – The Hat Tricks look to return to their winning ways tonight against the Maine Nordiques after suffering a tough 4-3 loss last night.
“Maine is a strong team, they represented our division at the Robertson Cup last year,” Billy McCreary commented. “If we want to be there we need to outwork them and come away with three points on the weekend.”
The Hat Tricks look to stave off the one goal losses, accruing 18 one-goal losses last season. “We have to find a way to swing these one goal games in our favor,” said head coach Billy McCreary. “If we flip half of those games in our favor, we are looking like a playoff team.”
Scoring has been an issue for the Hat Tricks early this year, totaling twelve goals over their first seven games. Mike Salandra leads the Hat Tricks in scoring with two goals and three assists in those seven contests.
The Hat Tricks look to come away with two points in the game tonight and continue the climb to the top of the Eastern Division. Puck drop is at 7:00 pm and you can follow along on HockeyTV or online by following our social media channels.
