HAT TRICKS OPEN WEEKEND SERIES AGAINST JOHNSTOWN

Oct 22, 2021

DANBURY, CT – The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks open up a weekend series against the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday at Danbury Ice Arena. The Hat Tricks are coming off of a tough loss at the hands of the New Jersey Titans, falling 5-1 at home this past Wednesday evening.

Danbury sits at 2-7-2 on the young season and looks to get back to their winning ways from their last home series where they took three of a possible four points from the Jamestown Rebels. The Hat Tricks struggled against Johnstown last year, going 1-7-2 against the Tomahawks.

So far this season, Johnstown has been led by Jake Black, a rookie out of Pomfret, Connecticut. Black is currently on a ten-game point streak, leads the league in points per game, and sits in a tie for third place in the league in points.

“If we play our game, it doesn’t matter who we are playing,” commented Hat Tricks coach Billy McCreary. “If we do what we want to do and execute our game plan we are a very difficult team to beat.”

The Hat Tricks will look to execute against the Johnstown Tomahawks on Friday and Saturday at Danbury Ice Arena. Both Friday and Saturday’s contests are slated for an 8 p.m. puck drop.

You can purchase tickets to both games on our website or at the front gate. If you can’t make it out to the game, make sure to follow along on social media or watch on HockeyTV.
