The Danbury Jr. Hat Tricks had a pair of representatives on the NAHL’s first Bauer Hockey Stars of the Week list, with forwards Cody Hoban and Alexander Krause earning honorable mentions.
Hoban was instrumental in Danbury’s overtime win against the New Jersey Titans, notching a pair of assists including the primary on Nolan Barrett’s powerplay game-winner. He also picked up an assist in Saturday’s 4-3 loss.
Krause was a clutch contributor in his first two games as a Jr. Hat Trick. His redirection in the third period Friday night tied the game en route to a 3-2 win, while also scoring in the third period the next night to bring Danbury to within one. Krause additionally picked up a powerplay assist.
Hoban and Krause will be back in action for the Jr. Hat Tricks on Friday night as they pay a visit to the Northeast Generals. Northeast lost both games in their first weekend of play.
